Since I don't think that is the answer you seek, I will share with you that I have a friend who had a salt water swimming pool put in her yard. She is a physical therapist who treats patients in a pool and decided it was time to get out of the chlorine. She loves it, she no longer has green hair and her bathing suits last longer than six weeks at a time.
If you are going to be keeping dolphins and porpoises or even a whale - Oh my! they prefer salt water.
The newest thing coming down the pike is UV cleaning, I'm not sure it is where it needs to be yet - but it's time is coming.
