Well, considering the level cap has increased to 80 now, you should probably change that. But anyways, the best way to level? Just do quests, or if you really need to, farm stuff. But the best way is to do quests.
The world record may be within 2 days but that isn't going to happen your first time. It took me two years to get to level 70 just because i got bored and stopped playing many times. You don't really become a fanatic of the game until you are level capped.
It depends how much you're playing World of Warcraft. For example i made my character in 9days 23hours to 0-80. That means i mate 70-80in about 4-5 days. But surely i played all day long. Now if you are serious to playing and have lots of time. Finish all quests in one zone before passing other zone. And try to finish as fast as you can. QuestHelper add-on recommended.
Depends on how long you spend ingame. Now days you can go alot fast then previous versions. Also with refer-a-friend you and level 3x faster. So find someone ingame to send you a invite.
Without refer-a-friend average game play (8 hrs week) = 3 months
With refer-a-friend average game play (8 hrs week) = 1.5 months
my guess..
Most hard core wow gamers can do it in less than a couple weeks. The rest of us can do it in about a month if we work at it. It all depends on how much time you put into it.
It depends on your playing time. Now you can go until lvl 85 and it took me about 1 week of playing time which is around 1-2 months playing time and that without raiding at low levels etc.
The length of time it takes to get to level 80 depends largely on the amount of time that you put into getting there. Someone who spends all day and all night every day playing WoW, will get there a heck of a lot faster than someone who only logs in for a hour or two every other day.
It also depends on if you do the Recruit a Friend incentive program through Blizzard. It has triple XP when your recruit is on and near you.
There are also Bind on Account gear that has +10% experience on it from killing mobs and completing quests. But you need a higher level character to get those.
This mostly depends on how long the ques are for you battlegroup. If the ques are long then it will take quite a long while, whereas if the ques are short then you could conceivably level 60-80 in just a week or so.
That depends completely on your style of play. On average it will take about 3-4 weeks to reach level 80, although people who play very casually might take 6-8 weeks. Current record known is reaching level 80 in 3 days time, taking into account the reduced XP requirements from 1-60 and heirloom items.
