98.8 degrees FAnswer

Answer

Normally 98.6 degrees F. Some people have a slightly lower or higher core temperature, and it even varies throughout the day. But if you are over 100 degrees, you are certainly ill.

(However, recent studies have shown that the average temperature is actually 98.2 degrees Fahrenheit. Apparently, the test that came up with 98.6 degrees F was made in 1861 by a German physician who possibly made a mistake in significant figures.)
