Similar to many countries, the climate varies. In the southern portion of the country it is considered subtropic and is extremely hot during the summer. In contrast, the winters in other parts of the country can be extremely cold and experience months of snowfall. Essentially, the temperatures can be anywhere from below 0 degrees Fahrenheit to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. They experience 4 full seasons in much of the country.

Generally speaking, Kyrgyzstan has a similar climate to that of the United States. In the north it is extremely cold in the winter and in the south it is extremely hot. However, you'll notice that many states in the USA experience 4 full seasons. This is because both countries fall near similar equator lines.
