According to the BBC it was -10c but in the suburbs it can get down to -12c

The bbc and there information... i know back in the 17th century -18c in central London was recorded and confirmed.

Perhaps there was even colder...

global warmings only about +0.7C, so i don't see any good reason why such shouldn't still be POSSIBLE.
