The Curent activity level on a scale of 1-4 is 3 last updated on September 8th. This interpretation was made on seismic data as well as visual observations. The level three alert means watch and is the second highest alert system for a volcano. Unfortunately due to the language difference it is difficult for me to get much more information than that on the current Tambora Activity.
