What is the daily percentage of sugar you should eat?
None. You do not need 'added' (refined/processed) sugar in your daily diet. Sugar from corn syrup or table sugar adds no nutritional value whatsoever.

What's the maximum amount of sugar you should eat daily and does it matter if you're eating it from natural foods?
Answer . It depends on what your goal is: to lower blood sugar or to lose weight. However, if you are eating natural food, like fruit and veggies, you can eat as much as yo…u want. "Fruit is nature's candy". Incredibly however, the safe amount to comsume for processed food and drinks is very low. Now, the Center for Science in the Public Interest is saying the safe amount is only 40 grams a day. That's the amount in a can of soda pop. The epidemic of obesity and diabetes is partially caused by the sugary foods we eat and the corn sugar added to processed foods. United States Department of Agriculture advises people who eat a 2,000-calorie healthful diet to try to limit themselves to about 10 teaspoons of added sugars per day. The average American diet is getting 3 times that amount..
Answer . \nThe average American/Canadian eats approx. 24 lbs. of sugar a year! Hard to believe isn't it. It's just not the sugar we notice we are using, but hidden sugar…s in our foods such as Ketchup, jams, soups, etc. If you go to a store read some of the labels on especially canned goods. Spaghetti sauce usually has sugar. The 3 things that make food taste the best is fat, sugar and salt. \n. \nSugar isn't really a staple (unless baking) and therefore we really don't need it. You could use honey (good for you) in your coffee/tea, sweeter fruits on top of your morning cereal or any time of the day. The artificial sweetener "SPLENDA" is perfectly OK for your body and tastes just like sugar. If you have a craving for sweets off and on (we all get those) then have something sweet, but don't over-do it. Even if slim people can have problems with sugar when they get older and can get on-set diabetes. Diabetes in American/Canadian youth is escalating at a rapid rate. Many kids live on junk foods, quick fix meals and loads of candy and pop. \n. \nIf you are concerned about your sugar intake then try SPLENDA. I think you'll really like the taste of it. I use it.
Most of your carbohydrates should come from complex carbs, not simple. The latter is absorbed fast, giving you short term energy, where as complex carbs give you long lasting …energy and will help you feel full. Foods such as oatmeal, vegetables, and grains will give you the energy you need. Keep in mind sugar releases chemicals that promote fat storage. When you are eating sugar, try to make it after a workout as this is when it is most useful to your body, and in a perfect world all of your sugar intake should come from fruits and veggies, and other natural foods such as milk. I hope this helps you and please not I am not a doctor and you should consult your Doctor for your own needs.
25 g. of sugar daily, but over 75% of Americans take in over double that daily.
The body gets more than 100% of the sugar it needs in fruits and vegetables and conversion of starches. There is no need to consume any amount of refined sugars whatsoever.
"The minimum daily requirement is zero". This is for REFINED sugar, like the processed stuff. It is NOT true that you don't need any sugar in your diet. Sure, you might get a…way with not eating it for a day or two, but we do actually need sugar in our blood. Although there is apparently no daily minimum requirement for refined sugar, you get sugar naturally from fruit. It is not really possible to completely cut out sugar from the diet, and you wouldn't want to do that anyway, it would be dangerous. However, as long as you are a normally healthy person (not got some kind of health problem where you have inadequate blood sugar levels, for example) you could probably easily give up the sort of sugar that most people will be thinking of, the type not found in plants but in ice-cream, chocolate, etc. as long as you ate fruit. I have looked around, and I can't find anything on minimum sugar intake from plants. I'll come back and update if I find something.
So if you are diabetic or on pro-diabetes you shouldn't have sugar at all. And what diabetic means is it means when someone ate too much sugar or other foods that contain suga…r. So that's why we always check the nutrition facts which is on the back of a pruduct but only a product that you can eat so its edible but you can also drink so the nutrition facts can also be on a drink. So if you're diabetic you should not have sugar but for your diet you can use splenda they get it at any store and you can also use that for your delights and cakes and brownie's etc. And if you have pro- diabetes you should get splenda till it goes away a little. Okay so how much sugar should you get daily? If you are not one of the above than you can have a 15 sugars of limit each day. But just because I said that doesn't mean you can have it everyday. Try to get you limit up to 5 only because that is way good for you and try to eat more vegetables and fruits.
Though I haven't found out the actual percentage, 25-40g of Fiber is recommended, varying based on age and gender, according to the MayoClinic. Another source recommends a mi…nimum of 32g.
0%. Carbohydrates are not essential and therefore there are no certain amount which you need to eat.
Around 30% protein if you work out. If you are trying to build muscle, maybe even 35-40%. If you are trying to lose body fat, try 20% fat, 40% carbs, and 40% protein. If you d…o a lot of cardio, you might need more carbs, but you don't need more than 30% fat.

It's not only sugar that matters. It's the number of calories in it. If you lose 3500 calories than you lose one pound. Therefore, you can't lose weight just by eat less. You… NEED to exercise if you want to lose weight. Eating less is never a good thing. But running, jogging and swimming(for examples) are really good for both your weight and health. P.S. Eating less sugar will change nothing.
