"Religious views" may be interpreted in a few different ways. "Views" may be interpreted as "opinions" or "outlooks" on one's own religion or the myriad of religions of other people. To summarise, one may have an opinion on any aspect of one's own religion or that of any person or group people. __________ Religious views are opinions on any topic that come from a perspective of faith-based philosophy or from a specific religious teaching. Several topics of current social and political interest can be and are interpreted from religious points of view, and there is often debate about how strongly one's religious point of view should influence society as a whole. Dealing with many questions there is little if any major difference between civil and religious perspectives. For example, in most societies murder is a serious criminal offense, and it considered a serious sin in the teachings of most religions as well. Other questions like abortion, the drinking of alcohol, women's rights, appropriate use of clothing, and various sexual freedoms invite lively debate and often mark serious differences between secular societal and religious points of view.

I am a Roman catholic and tend to view most religious issues through the dogmas and canon law of the Church. I have disagreements with a very few issues, but generally I accept the scholarship, authority and traditions of the Church.

Any belief is holding on to something that you believe is true, a conviction. In the religious area it would be a variety of beliefs that a person believes is true even if they are factually or potentially wrong or in error.
