Typically they are basically the same. However, the skills learned could be applied to any field or organization whether for-profit or non-profit. While different types of organizations have different purposes, they have many more similarities then differences. Management can apply to all fields for they all must be managed appropriately to survive. MY undergraduate work is in psychology, however my masters is in organizational management. I have used the skills acquired within the management degree in most every field I have been involved in to include colleges and universities.
