What would you like to do?
Dictionaries vary on their interpretation of the spelling, but there have been some conventions adopted for journalistic standards. "Advisor" is usually listed as an alternate spelling of "adviser" and has gained common usage as a TITLE (for someone in an ADVISORY position). One source suggests that an "adviser" is someone who gives advice, whereas an "advisor" is someone specifically tasked to provide such advice.

I suggest this: Adviser - one who is available to give advice. Advisor - one who actually provides advice. I apply the 'or/ee' principle; 'or' gives, 'ee' receives in the exch…ange of something. As in offeror and offeree, wherein the offeror gives an offer, and the offeree receives it. An advisor is actually giving advice to someone in the present. Whereas, an adviser may be simply capable and willing to give, and may have in the past given, advice. An adviser may not be doing so in the present.

Advising, when used to describe what a school counselor does, most often has to do with offering academic advice such as what classes to take, college information, etc. Adviso…rs often do some sort of counseling, however, it is not what most would consider to be "therapy", as a therapist (or counselor) usually has a clinical psychology degree rather than an education degree. A person with this degree that does counseling is most often working with a theoretical orientation (i.e. psychodynamic, cognitive, etc.) and is working with diagnosable mental disorders. the term counselling mean you give to the person the solution, guidence, and their must be questioning during your converstion. While the term advice is only guidence for something to the point.i hope answered your question.if any one have something more,he or she can contact me on this ID.firstname.lastname@example.org
advise is to give advice as to a course of action one should take; counsel suggest can apply to any situation in which you give an idea. I could suggest what shirt you would b…uy, or I could suggest which store to buy it at. Advise could be used for that I guess, but it's more commonly used in other instances. I would advise you to do something that I think would help you. I could advise you to befriend someone.
advises is when someone gives you information that may or may not help you while advice is the information they give you.

The difference between the two words is their tense, and the word in and of itself. Advised is the past tense of advise, which is to give advice to someone. Advice is informat…ion you give to someone to assist them in making a decision.
