The American expression "Soda" is just water that has carbon dioxide gas dissolved in it to make it fizzy. Cola is fizzy water with special flavorings added. In Britain we don't use the word "soda" for plain fizzy water. We call it "soda water" but that is not very popular as a drink on its own. It is mostly used to add to other drinks such as fruit juice, or to white wine to make a "spritzer". It is also the other ingredient in "Whisky and soda"! "Fizzy lemonade" is very nice too. It has some lemon flavor added to the soda water.
Coke-cola has Coke in it and Sam's cola has Sam's intestines in it. Simples >:)

Uganda actually sells a lot less Coca-cola than Iceland. Seriously! I am talking about the countries, not shops.
A can of Coca Cola contains 140 calories, while a can of Pepsi contains 150. So there is a 10 calorie difference between the two sodas.
