"Disorderly Conduct" iand "Disturbing the Peace" are similar charges and, in some jurisdictions, one may be used in preference to the other since they both share elements of the same type offense. That being said.... disorderly conduct is usually chargee when your conduct and actions are of a disorderly nature (drunk/disturbing the peace/fighting/etc).
