A unit of measure is anything used to describe a quantity of some king like feet for length, pounds for weight. Quantity is just the number of units, like ten feet, the ten is the quantity and feet is the unit of measure.

Answer

Voltage, current, resistance, mass, weight, temperature, volume, etc., are examples of quantities. Volts, amperes, ohms, kilograms, newtons, kelvin, cubic metre, are examples of units of measurements.

  • we need unit because we want to measure amount or quantity to something. to make these things globally acceptable we need to put unique measurement value this is called unit
  • Dimensions are physical quantities like mass, length, time which uniquely characterises an object. if say we want to measure a distance then we need length. for matter mass, and for clock time. units are to measure these quantities

a unit is a basic value of the particular but the square unit is the double of the unit value......................such as : let us consider 2m as the unit of anything, say the length of a given wire.............so if we square the length or double the length then the square unit of (2m) will be 4m sq.

Actually the only difference between them is of the direction. Distance is a scalar quantity and the displacement is the vector quantity. They are always same in Unit . They are also same in magnitude while at in straight line motion.

What is a voltage of a battery?

It is the potential difference between the positive and negative terminals of the battery. The unit of electrical potential is the volt, so the difference in potential between two ponts is also a quantity with units of volts, colloquially called the 'voltage' between the points.

What is the difference between pascal and decibels?

Pascal means the pressure = force divided by area. Decibels means a logarithmic unit of measurement that expresses the magnitude of a physical quantity relative to a specified or implied reference level. Since it is a ratio of two quantities with the same unit, it is a dimensionless unit. The difference is like between a car and a banana.
