The difference between Source and Reservoir is that source is a major thing from which we receive a product or necessities. It is a direct way of getting our daily needs.EXAMPLE:The fishes we get from rivers, the water we get from waterfalls, were reservoir is a area where we can store and use the products from sources.it is an indirect way of getting our needs.EXAMPLE:The fish we get from markets, the water we get from Dams..
both source rocks and reservoir rocks are highly porous. however, the permeabilty of a reservoir rock distinguishes it from a source rock.
Source rock; reservoir rock; cap rock
Petroleum migration is the movement of hydrocarbons from a source rock to a reservoir rock in which the hydrocarbon is impede by traps
A water shed is the catchment area for a reservoir which contains streams and springs leading to on output source being a dam.

Conventional Drilling is the drilling of a vertical well through reservoir rocks to TD. Directional drilling is the drilling of a non-vertical well horizontaly through a source rock.

A major difference is that Reservoirs are man made and used for human use while other lakes are not.
I do not think that there is any difference. Petroleum engineers normally inject water into an oil reservoir to maintain the reservoir pressure (and hence the ability of the reservoir to pump oil to the surface). In the process and if the water injection wells are properly located, the injected water normally sweeps (pushes out) out more oil effectively flooding the reservoir and increasing the amount of oil that is recovered from the reservoir. This incremental oil will otherwise be left behind in the reservoir. Hence, in an oil reservoir where the natural aquifer is large and strong enough to maintain the reservoir pressure, water injection is unlikely to significantly increase the oil recovery from the reservoir.
