What is the difference between television and radio as media of communications?
radio you can only hear tv you can hear and see!!
Well, the main difference is that a radio doesn't have video. Only audio. Another difference is the programming in most cases. In the early days of radio, they had several sho…ws in different genres that people would tune into weekly, sort of like shows that we watch on Television now. Now, though, that is rare. Radio is mostly music-only or discussion-only fare, and has lost some of the appeal that there was in its other programming. Television has taken over most of the weekly shows and stories. Another difference is portability. It would distract a driver too much to watch television while driving, but radio is good. It is easier to take a radio along with you while traveling than it is a TV.
Media represents forms of communication through technology such as radio, television, magazines, newspapers and the internet. Communication, on the other hand, not only co…vers communication through the media, but also face to face, via mail, and all other methods of communication as well.
They both tune in to stations, but radios only have audio and they play mainly music. Televisions show video as well as play audio, and if you have satellite, some companies d…o play just music on certain channels.
Radio and television are similar in that you can hear music on both of them. They are different because a radio does not have a picture on it where you can watch what is g…oing on.
A television shows a picture on the screen while it plays sounds. A radio is just the sound.
Radio plays music and just play commercial.Television can watch people orNBA games and listen to music also, and show advertisement.
Radio Reporter presents reports in a radio newsrooms, editing suites, sound booths ect.. A television reporter will report major or minor news live on television. … -malo
radio is the form audio output which can only send out a message, through it provide frequency by governing broadcast authority, it does not provide the visual image or …appearance of speaker, while the listener listen all through the programme. while the television provide the listener opporturnity of seeing the person behind the screen at the time of listening to the pragramme,i:e audio-visual
Radio is auditory and TV is both visual and auditory.
the tv media focuses much on the visual while the newspaper media focuses on reading.
None. But be remember that every forecast is done by a different person.
The main differences have to do with their frequency of operation:AM radio and SW radio antennas operate at much lower frequenciesthan TV and FM radio antennas. An optimal low… frequency antenna ismuch longer (and is usually operated in "quarter wave" mode toreduce its length) than an optimal high frequency antenna (which isusually operated in "half wave" or even "full wave" mode). Howeverthese differences are typically more significant at the transmitterantenna than at the receiver antenna. AM radio receivers often use a nonadjustable ferrite coil antennaor flattened coil antenna hidden inside the receiver to produce theeffect of a long nearly optimal antenna in a small space. TV and FM radio antennas are often an adjustable whip antenna orrabbit ears antenna mounted on top of the TV or radio, making iteasier for the user to optimize reception on different stations.
u hear radio and u see tv TV uses radio in a very complicated way. It uses sub-carriers to embed the video content and audio in both frequency modulation and amplitude modulat…ion. Phase angle differences are used to resolve the old analogue color picture. Radio only has to deal with sound. The most complicated it got with an analogue system, is the 19kHz tone used to code the stereo signal. The transmission of digital signals has actually become simpler. You only need to differentiate at the receiver, between a 1 and a 0. Usually done by comparing phase angle.
They are very similar in the transmission of the signal. The production of the media is different because of the aspect of vision in TV.
Radio advertising is just words, and tv advertising has words and picture.
Radio mysteries have more convincing and impressive scenery, are much less expensive to produce, and, may I say, are more mysterious.
