Astronomers once believed that planets were probably rare and unusual, and that tere might not be very many planets. However, recent discoveries indicate that planets are far more common; in fact, almost every star that astronomers have closely observed is discovered to have some planets!

So it is likely that the "furthest planet in our galaxy" is on the other side of the galaxy from the Earth. The Milky Way galaxy has a radius of about 40,000 light years, and our solar system is about 3/4 of the way out from the center. So the "furthest planet in our galaxy" is probably somewhere near 70,000 light years away.

Which is closer to New York the moon or Paris and is any distance on Earth greater than the distance to the moon?

Paris. The moon is about 220,000 miles away from Earth. Earth's circumference is about 25,000 miles. Paris is much closer to New York (3,636 miles) then the moon (238,857 miles). No distance between two places on Earth is greater than the distance to the moon. The circumference of the Earth is only 24,901 miles so that's pretty much the furthest you can go between two points on Earth. The distance to the moon as mentioned is over 238,857 miles.

What is the height of Mars?

The "Height"? Do you mean the size, or the distance it is from the Sun or from the Earth? it is about half the width of the Earth and about one sixth the volume. When it is closest to the Sun it is about 207 million kilometres from it and when it is furthest it is about 250 million. It's distance from the Earth is very varied. Or, do you mean it's angular elevation when viewed from Earth? This too varies greatly.

Can we see our own galaxy in the night sky?

Yes. Well, parts of it. If you look down, on the floor, you see planet Earth, which is part of our own galaxy; and all the stars and planets you see in the night sky are part of our own galaxy. Moreover, if it's dark enough, you can see a band of light, which is what gave our galaxy the name, "Milky Way".
