I believe that you will find the Aboriginal Dreamtime is quite similar to the Native American Indian's quests, ie the dreamtime is state of mind that brings answers to the person in the dreamtime that they are missing when they are awake which is similar to the quests for the Native American Indian's. I am not sure of any other cultures that practice this, but I am sure there are plenty. i am sorry but this is not a very good explonation of my question!!
