I believe that you will find the Aboriginal Dreamtime is quite similar to the Native American Indian's quests, ie the dreamtime is state of mind that brings answers to the person in the dreamtime that they are missing when they are awake which is similar to the quests for the Native American Indian's. I am not sure of any other cultures that practice this, but I am sure there are plenty. i am sorry but this is not a very good explonation of my question!!

A:The Dreamtime is more or less the aboriginal equivalent to the Book of Genesis. It tells how the world came to be as it is now, and what happened to the ancestors. Of course, the Dreamtime differs from area to area, but much of it has been lost since many tribes no longer know some of their most sacred dreamtime stories. These could only be passed on to fully initiated members of the tribe.
