What is the easiest method for removing wall paper?
Try using a spray bottle with 2 parts vinegar & 1 part water. Spray on paper & let sit until paper peels off easily using a trowel or scraper. You may need to do this in layers. Sometimes it will peel off the entire paper. Other times, the top layer will peel off & you will need to spray the back layer (adhesive) again & then peel it off.

The method of Wallpaper border removal depends on what the Border was applied on, like painted wall or not, was it applied over wallpaper, and what was used to hang the wallpa…per border. If it's on wallpaper, it can be easily peeled off. However, if it's on a painted wall, dampening the lower layer with warm water, and letting it soak for a while considerably make the job easier.. You can use any commercial chemical wallpaper remover if the border is a genuine Wallpaper border and is reasonably new. The remover will reactivate the adhesive and let you scrape off the paper with a scraping tool. However the chemical usually won't permeate if the wallpaper border has a vinyl outer covering. Use a perforation tool to break the surface so the moisture can reach the adhesive.. Peel the wallpaper border with soft metal or plastic scraper, and not tools like strong metal scrapers or filling knives, which may result in unwanted scratches on the wall. If the Wallpaper border material is fibrous, like paper, you can use a garden sprayer to drench it with the chemical remover, and then remove the remaining residue. Use a wallpaper steamer to reactivate the paste. You can then easily scrape of the paper.. You can also use steam removal method for Wallpaper borders. First, steam the surface of the wall. Start from the bottom to the topmost part, one section at a time. If the wallpaper border uses extremely strong adhesive, you may need to steam each strip twice or thrice before removing. Use a broad knife to scrape a strip of wallpaper off the wall, working from the bottom up. And while the adhesive is still warm, scrape each strip of paper. Using warm water and sponge, remove remaining adhesive residue.. One decorator mentioned using fabric softener in water also.
Wallpaper glue can be removed by scrubbing with hot water. -In this case it may depend on how you are going to re-finish the wall.
What is the most cost effective method to remove Bituminous waterproofing from a concrete shear wall?
Regional prices can vary, but scraping and waterblasting are typically the most cost-effective means of removal.
The easiest way to remove a wall plug is to just pull it out. If that is not easy for you, use lubrication. It can reduce friction and allow you to pull the wall plug out mor…e easily. But don't use water unless you are an electric fan. If that still doesn't work, get a really strong friend to pull it out for you. Please remember to say thank you. If that STILL doesn't work, buy a really powerful machine built for pulling stuff out. I'm not sure if there is such a thing, but if there is, it's definitely gonna cost you a few hundred bucks. If it STILL doesn't work, there's only one solution left : PULL LIKE MAD!!!! Don't rip out the wall, though. If it still doesn't work...cut the wire. OR you can call your local handyman. It's actually best if you avoid pushing the wall plug into the PowerPoint hardly at first. Just do that. It's good for you.
There isn't an easy way- hard work is the way to go.
You have 40 year old vinyl on your kitchen walls that is impossible to remove you were thinking of covering it with something what would be the easiest and cheapest option?
A lot would depend on the condition of the current vinyl covering. If it is in good condition and still adhering well, you could put another vinyl right over it. However, I ha…ve never personally tried putting vinyl over vinyl. If you did decide to do that, the existing vinyl would have to be wiped clean to remove any dirt or dust that may have accumulated. Since it is in a kitchen area I would suggest using a vinyl that is cleanable and of a fairly heavy grade: not just something light weight that will either tear or not be sustainable for any length of time. Select something that is either a solid, a faux finish, or a design that you will not tire of quickly. There are repositionable vinyl wallcoverings now available that are easily installed by the homeowner without having to use a professional, which is a cost-savings. They can be reused and are easily removable. Be sure to factor in all these attributes when comparing to other options you are considering to determine what is the best one for you.

you first make the basic shape out of crumpled newspapers and cardboard taped together. then you cut out newspaper strips and make paste. you heavily paste the newspaper onto …the figure. after it is completely coated you do the same as you did with the newspaper with colored tissue paper. you cover the figure until you can no longer see the newspaper and let it dry. have fun!

Had wallpaper on the bathroom walls I removed the wall paper now I'm wanting to paint the wall what kind of primer should I use?
You should carefully inspect the wall board for any damage. If the paper "skin" of the wall board has peeled off with the wall paper, you will have to patch that before you ca…n paint. Otherwise, I would recommend a good quality latex primer.
