The Bible says by grace alone are we saved, and not by our deeds of strength. ==== There is only one gospel and it is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As already written, scripture says we are saved by grace alone through faith in Christ. Scripture also says that even the faith we exercise is given by God. This leaves us completely dependent on God to save us. Nothing we can do will contribute anything to salvation apart from responding to the gospel. If it weren't for God taking the initiative to reach out and pull us out of our sinful state we would be lost forever. Grace has to do with freely giving to one who does not deserve it. We can't possibly grasp the love God has for us, except when we consider Jesus hanging on the cross for us. God gave us Jesus. God gave us faith. God then calls us through the hearing of the gospel to use the faith he's given us to believe in Christ. It is all of God and all of grace.
