What is the highest mg for xanax?

I know of someone who is on 2mg 3 times a day, that's 6 mg per day, and she is barely affected at all. Also, the generic didnt work as well as non generic (after 7 mg of generic she was still talking a mile a minute)

Normally 0.5 to 2 mg at bed time is given. Very tense patient can tolerate much higher dosage. Death due to heavy dose poisoning is probably not reported. If you need to give high dose of this drug without any obvious psychological tension, then antipsychotic drugs has to be considered in addition/instead.

There is Xanax and Xanax XR (extended release), i beleive that the highest single pill is 3-4 mgs, but, that would make it an extended release pill.

Once again, i am not a pharmacist, nor do i have any pharmacological training, so, be careful out there!

The highest mg pill they have are the 2mg bars, and a 3mg extended release pill.
