Located in Alaska, it rises to approximately 20320 ft. It's nickname is 'Denali' or 'the great one' in Native American. It is named after former President William McKinley.
Denali is the tallest mountain in North America at 20,328 ft. It is located in the Alaska range of central Alaska. The Denali national park web site may be a good resource for further information. See attached link. (Note that Denali is also called Mt. McKinley.)
Mount McKinley in Alaska (also known as Denali by native Americans) is the highest mountain in North America at 6,194 meters (20,320 feet).
With a height of 20,327 ft (6,196 m) the highest mountain in North America is Denali, also known as Mt. McKinley.
Mount McKinley also known as Denali or Dinale, (the great one or the high ones) it has a summit elevation of 20,320 feet (6,194 m) above sea level. It is the third most prominent peak in the world after Everest and Aconcagua.
It comprises of two significant summits, the South Summit being the higher one, whilst the North Summit has an elevation of 19,470 ft
Five large Glaciers flow down of the slopes, Peters Glacier to the northwest of the massif, Muldrow to the east, eastern side of the massif lies Traleika Glacier. To the southeast side of Mount McKinley leading up is the Kahiltna, and Ruth Glacier to the southeast as well.
I'd go with Mt. Mckinley. It is the highest point above sea level in North America and the tallest mountain, from base to peak, in the world. In Alaska, we use the native word "Denali" for the mountain, meaning "the high one".

At the base of the mountain.
There are six parts of a mountain. They are the peak (highest point on a mountain), crest (top of the mountain), base (bottom of the mountain), mountain, slope (angle from base to peak), and the face (front of the mountain).
Mount Logan is actually located on a range which reaches both the North West Canada Yukon territory, and the North America Washington Territory. It lies within the Kluane National Park and reserve.

Mount McKinley, also called Denali, is the tallest mountain in North America, the third most prominent peak in the world (measured via topographic prominence), and has the greatest height of any mountain entirely above sea level, when measured from base to peak. Thus it is not necessarily the highest peak, but perhaps the longest climb.
For absolute height above sea level, Mount Everest is the highest mountain. As measured from a land base, it would be Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. As measured from the center of the Earth, the Andean mountain Chimborazo has the highest point. The overall highest mountain on Earth is Mauna Kea in Hawaii which has its base beneath the Pacific Ocean. This volcano rises to 10203 meters from the sea floor, whereas Mount Everest is the highest mountain on land at 8848 meters.
Its in South America It was in South America Hawaii has the tallest volcano in the world. Mauna Kea, the dormant volcano in the Hawaiian Islands which is, measuring from its base underwater to its tip, the tallest mountain in the world (13,803 feet)
He no longer needed a base in North America. (apex)
Summit! The Summit of the mountain is the highest point, also the peak.
