obviously yes........... as technology grows, the things that were earlier done by humans or things in which humans were employed to do, machines are going to do in the coming age.

machines and technology will do a much safer and accurate work than most humans. this will cause unemployment as machines will replace people from their jobs and take over. people will be kicked out of their jobs. so, your question answered!

No. Lack of education such that increased technology can be effectively utilized means increased unemployment. Unemployment of the uneducated is much higher than unemployment of the educated. "High unemployment" is a result of people not getting jobs they are qualified for, not the lack of jobs. Millions of skilled jobs are going unfilled. The antipathy of many Americans toward education--that is, that ignorance is an American value--is why they perceive high unemployment.

Technology replaces many possible jobs, so it affects the unemployment rate negatively. However, technology is a vital tool for the majority of jobs, so it can't be blamed completely. Whether it is necessary for certain jobs vs. if people could man those jobs, is definitely debatable. In terms of unemployment rate, it is not favorable.

It can cause some unemployment as the technology does things that people used to do and they lose their jobs, but it can also create new kinds of jobs.
