Researchers have estimated that the potential life-span of earthworms (Lumbricids) under field conditions is 4-8 years. Under laboratory conditions the black headed worm (Aporrectodea longa) has been kept for over 10 years, the brandling/tiger worm (Eisenia fetida) for 4.5 years and the lobworm/nightcrawler (Lumbricus terrestris) for 6 years (Korschelt, 1914). But for commercial purpose we consider only the life cycle i.e., the period of time taken for hatching egg to adult stage. It varies depending upon the species from 45 to 75 days.

That was the original text and it is copletely wrong. Earwigs live for about a year, and the DO NOT live inside of peoples ears. They are called earwigs because the English people thought that they lived in peoples ears and ate their brain. (BTW, calling people "cracker jacks" just proves that you are an idiot trolling on the internet)
The average lifespan of an earwig is 1 to 3 years. They mostly live in grass and woodland areas and love to eat plants.
for 1 second
depends if some one steps on it
1 year
Until they have killed all you children or 2 days :)
They live in moist and dark environments.
Yes they do. Although they do not often go inside.
they can live in anywhere but cold places if you see they come out in the summer but arent their in the winter
Earwigs are both carnivore and herbivore. They mostly feed on decaying vegetable matter, but will also prey on live insects like small invertebrates.
Earwigs communicate with other earwigs from pheromones that they excrete to attract other earwigs. They pick up the pheromones with their antennae.
Spiders and Frogs eat Earwigs.
Yes earwigs can climb
Loam soils are a substance with a consistency in between sand and mud. Insects that live in these soils include worms and earwigs.
it is very uncommon to find earwigs in the human ear! it is just a legend
Earwigs are herbivores. See the Related Link below.
those insects are called earwigs, and they do not crawl into ears and nest.
