There is no set doseage as lorazepam is not approved for use in dogs in the United States. Also, lorazepam is a potent benzodiazepine with the potential for multiple side effects as well as use by the human owner, so most veterinarians won't prescribe it.
Not sure, but I gave my 14-pound dog 1 mg lorazepam (prescribed by vet) last night so I could give her a bath and it didn't seem to phase her much. She was basically her usual self, just a tad more calm. I was hoping it would sedate her enough so I could cut her hair, but she wasn't having all that and tried to bite me...as usual.
Personally, I would call your vet for this question. Most pets need to have a checkup before giving any medication. Better to be safe than sorry.
No, dosages depend on weight.
How long has dog had diarrhea? Hard to advise.
No this is dangerous for a dog. If your dog has this bad anxiety take it to a vet. Dogs and other animals cant take human medication..our bodies arent the same
Amoxicillin does not help with kennel cough. Go see your veterinarian.
Don't mess around with medications on the advice of strangers who may not be qualified. Ask your vet!
Dont to prescribe medication to your dog. Take it to the veterinarian.
There are many potential dosages for penicillin for a dog. The dosage varies based upon the condition being treated, the location of the infection and the formulation of the penicillin. If you suspect your dog has a bacterial infection that needs medication, you should take him to your vet for an examination.
What is it for a 8 year old 100 lb. Dog
Let the veterinarian prescribe the correct dosage of alprazolam, too much would be fatal.
The dosage is important. If you have the cortisone, a veterinarian must have prescribed it. Ask them.
For anything medical, ASK YOUR VET, not a web page. You don't know whether you are being answered by an expert or an idiot.
