In a plant cell the vacuole is much larger than the animal cells vacuole. The plant cells vacuole mostly contains water. In the animal cells vacuole it is used to store waste.
Animal cells do not have vacuoles. Only plant cells

Yes, both animal and plant cells have a nucleus. Eukaryotic cells have a nucleus, multiple organelles and are ten time bigger than prokaryotic cells. Prokaryotic cells do not have a nucleus, so they are very simple.

Check out the link. Animals rarely have vacuoles, they are more present in plant cells. But some do carry them. In that case, animal vacuoles are relatively useless and only aid in larger processes, whereas plants use them for large containers and such. The link is GREAT, really.

The difference, is that the vacuole in a plant cell is like a storage unit. It contains extra waste that the plant doesn't need, such as extra water or extra sugar. Inside of an animal cell the Vacuole contains air.
