Do you mean "what's the marketshare of shaving cream in the shaving cream market," "what's the marketshare of shaving cream in the toiletries department" or "what's the marketshare of shaving cream in the whole drugstore"? Or better, what's the marketshare of Gillette Foamy shaving cream in the shaving cream market?

∙ 10y agoWell, given a few quick searches it seems that Gillette has a 70% global market share, Schick about 18%, and the rest probably mostly to BIC and the smaller players.
It's interesting to note that in the BIC 2012 financial report (Google it) they seemingly sell 3.6 Billion per year. Being small and a mix of plastic,metal and rubber, I expect recycling is too costly, but I would like to still hope that those 10 million disposable shavers per day and don't end up as landfill. And that's only BIC, at the smaller end of the scale :-(
