both your sims need to be wearing the marriage hat and necklace for them to get married. You can get the plans for those two objects by swimming in the tidal pool. Go in the llama temple then you need to preform a cerimonial cliff dive. To open the llama doors you need all the hyros then stitch them together using a crafting bench.

The way to marry on sims 2 castaway is get yourself and the sim you want to marry charisma to 10 and then they have to be 100 on friends on the relationship list the you have to make a group meal that has the little sparkles that meen its perfect feed it to both of the sims then go to the third island if your not already there. makeout with the other sim then propose if this does not work then go back to the first island declare the shipwreck lagoon your home sit at the campfire with only the person you are going to marry dont tell stories just sit and let the 2 sims talk . the next time it rains the fire will go out take them in a shelter click makeout then when it stops raining and the sun shines click propose
