Dear friend
Well,...a nice question, and here is answer. I would admit your interest in the generelisation of theories to your practical life, as we used to say, a chemistry girl will alway put a glass rod or something like that when she pour even tea, to avoid splashing and there by mass/material loosage.
First of all, you have to find the moleculat weight of your apple. As you know, molecular weight is the least minimum size of the material, beyond which the properties of the apple will be lost. Great ! once you have done this, they are 1/3 finished !. Then you have to calculate the reactivity of your apple, say once you feed the apple you your babe or you yourself, how much acitive molecules it will reacts with, I meant each of your molecular weight material reacts, or release electrons. Divide your molecular wiegiht with this number so called applicity (just like basicity). this is the exact equalant weight of your apple, provided, your apple is an a perfect solid with the said defect of schottky, frenkel or even at least non-bruised one, becaause, once if your apple is bruised, your calculated and actual weights will be diffirent by the occupation of worms along with the dense part of the apple, which will change the density of your material. So once you buy apple for htis purpose, you have to tell the seller, so that he can supply the best schordinger type of apples !!!
Your freind from India.
Many apples are different sizes therefore there is no possible way to measure the weight of all apples.. though I imagine around 30 grams
Apples are high in sugar about 3 grams an ounce
A medium sized apple is 200 grams according to my food scale's counter.
the one we measured in my physics class was 157 grams
There are 20 grams in a apple
on average a apple weighs about 68 grams
