What is the meaning of erosion?
Erosion is caused when a river turns at a meander. When the water splashes against the side of the meander. After a long long time the edge of the meander is worn away. This i…s erosion.
Erosion is the wearing away of the surface of the earth! Erosion is the process by which soil and rock are removed from the Earth's surface by natural processes such as wind …or water flow, and then transported and deposited in other locations. . the process of eroding or being eroded by wind, water, or other natural agents . The gradual destruction or diminution of something: "the erosion of support for the party" . The wearing away of land or soil by the action of wind, water, or ice. In hydrologic terms, wearing away of the lands by running water, glaciers, winds, and waves, can be subdivided into three process: Corrasion, Corrosion, and Transportation. Weathering, although sometimes included here, is a distant process which does not imply removal of any material wearing away of rock or soil by the gradual detachment of soil or rock fragments by water, wind, ice, and other mechanical or chemical forces.the wearing away of the earth's surface by running water, wind, ice, or other geological agents; processes, including weathering, dissolution, abrasion, corrosion, and transportation, by which material is removed from the earth's surface
The Agents of sSoil Erosion are wind, water, glacier, people and animals.
If erosion didnt happen we wouldn't have canyons or montains or hills, but yes erosion is important.
No- how can there be? There is no air, wind or water in space. And what would it erode if there was?
Erosion is the process of the movement of loosened or weathered materials from one place to another, and occurs due to the agents of erosion (wind, moving water, moving ice, a…nd gravity).
The movement of material by wind, water, ice, and gravity causes erosion, although mankind is increasingly assisting in that movement. rain, water, wind, ice, run-off of anyth…ing, slides. any force of nature really.
When the river flow through its path due to pressure of river on the bank the soil gets loosen and starts to fall is known as erosion
The denudation of the soil cover and subsequent washing down is described as soil erosion. The processes of soil formation and erosion, go on simultaneously and generally ther…e is a balance between the two. Sometimes, this balance is disturbed due to human activities like deforestation, over-grazing, construction and mining etc., while natural forces like wind, glacier and water lead to soil erosion. breaking down of soil time period can cause land slides.
Erosion is where one object is wearing away another. For example, the sea erodes the cliffs away very gradually. This is why the beaches are getting closer inland. (Only a s…mall amount at a time) Erosion is to slowly detirerate... My Geography teacher told me the meaning so if im mistaken or wrong then it's his fault.
Erosion occur via natural or man- made weathering. For example, Rocks (ignious) weather to form sand. Weathering is as it sounds: the process that causes erosion by Rain (acid… rain included), Flooding, hail, etc. the rain fills the cracks in a rock (for example) then freezes with the temprature. Then when the temprature gets above freezing the particles in the rock get excited and during that motion the H2O particles from the melted ice merge together which causes the physical properties of the rock to separate to make room. This is the cause of a crack, once there are enough cracks then the rock will break down. The process continues until the rock particles are granulated like sand. I hope this helps, if you want it "dummed down" then basically, it rains, the water gets into the rock, the rock starts to crack, the rock breaks, the rock continues to do so until it is sand (or otherwise depending upon the rock)
This is where the sea constantly beats against the cliffs and eventually wears the cliffs down. so the end of the cliff either falls into the water, or you get left with a cav…e.
Erosion is the process of the movement of loosened materials from one place to another, and generally occurs when the material is exposed to ice, water or wind, and gravity. I… also have a small penis (and i got ring sting).
