There is no such thing as "true love." It's a song, it's a dream, it's a fairy tale! I hate to disappoint you, but let's get back to reality. If "true love" is but an inventiion of Hollywood and the song writers, what is "getting together" with another human being all about? It is about being alike! Having similar ideas about life. Living similar lives. For the more you are alike, the better you can get along. Think about it this way: why does a sports team - like for example a football team - get along? They are alike in that they have all the same purpose: winning. So, sometimes they might fight with each other but in the end they will join for the same reason: winning. That's all that 's to it. Find a common purpose and forget about "true love!"
