Start->right click on My computer->Properties and the window "Properties" you will see amount of memory installed on your computer.
Virtual Memory is like RAM but XP put's it on you hard drive for extra space. I had a problem when I played certain games on XP that it stopped the game and a window popped up and said "virtual memory too low." If you have a problem like this you can always change the maximum amount allowed. WARNING: Do not change the minimum amount unless you know what you are doing. Do not modify your maximum amount larger than you free space. And remember to leave room for other applications to be installed, etc.
The G4 iBook came in several versions over its lifetime and the maximum memory varies between 640 MB to a theoretical 1.5 GB depending on the particular version. Having no idea what window 8 mac might be could not say how much memory is required.

A sash window is a window that has at least two separate panels of glass. Doesn't matter if one of them slides or tips or tilts to open up the window, the minimum requirement is simply 2 panels of glass.
