The Mood of the Miracle Worker varies throughout it's scenes. Whenever Helen is unhappy, the whole scene carries a hopeless and depressing feeling. THis reflects how Annie feels inside each time she fails to connect with Helen. However, when young Helen is happy towards the end of the play, the play takes on the emotions of relief, joy, happiness and new found hope. This reflects how Helen feels inside the moment she connects the meaning of water to the signlanguage spelling of it.

  • The miracle of the miracle worker was Annie teaching Helen sign language and she succeeded. Helen went to college and graduated, she became an under-controlled child and very smart. that's why Annie was the miracle of the miracle worker.
  • Well, if you are talking of a Course in Miracles worker, a miracle is any expression of love which comes over by natural impulse. Meaning a genuine smile is a miracle, a fake smile misses its purpose.
