Captain Kirk's full name is Captain James Tiberius Kirk.
His middle name is Tiberius. And I'd like all you "fans" to note that Captain Kirk was not always a Captain. He was once upped to the rank of Admiral and therefore he lost th…e rank, forcing him back as a Captain. That therefore tied him with Spock as a Captain. (in the movies, of course). Tiberius was not the first Middle name/initial. In the 2nd pilot. 'WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE'. Gary Mitchell(played by Gary Lockwood) creates a tombstone for Kirk. It reads 'James R. Kirk'. The 'R' has never been fully qualified. Later the show referred to him as 'James T. Kirk' but never gave him a full middle name. Not until ST6 did it become officially Tiberius.
George George NO, no, no! The first name of Captain Kirk's older brother was Samuel, or Sam as the Captain called him. Sam was later killed. His name was George… Samuel Kirk. Since George was also their father's name he went by Samuel or Sam.

Captain Kirk's dog was never mentioned in any ot the original series' tv episodes. But in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Kirk's dog is introduced with the name of Butler, a …Doberman.
James Tiberius Kirk I believe was born on March 22, 2225. If you go down to Reception on the site below, the picture has a date on it :MArch 22, 2225. Of course, that ma…y have been a death date. It's kinda difficult to figure this out, for he is a fictional character. Hoped this helped -Kyra http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_T._Kirk#cite_note-73
He was Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701.

In the movie Star Trek (2009) his brother is definitely older.
Lt. Nyota Uhura is one of Cpt. James T. Kirks lieutenants in the Star Trek fictional universe.
If you mean commanding officer as in James T. Kirk's superior, it would have been Captain Christopher Pike. If you mean Kirk's second in command (first officer), it would …have been Spock. In the 2009 movie Star Trek, Captain Christopher Pike made Spock acting captain and James T. Kirk the acting first officer before he (Pike) was taken captive by the Romulans. Later in the film, Kirk provokes Spock to attack him, which soon after Spock is forced to relinquish his command due to being emotionally compromised. Kirk then assumes the role of captain, and Spock becomes his first officer. In the sequel Star Trek Into Darkness, Kirk is demoted for violating the Prime Directive and (now Admiral) Pike becomes commanding officer of the USS Enterprise. He then takes in Kirk and makes him first officer. Kirk later regains the role of captain after Admiral Pike was assassinated.
