It is 1 in 17. Here's why:
There are 52 cards in a deck, 13 different value cards (A, 2, 3, etc.), and two cards are dealt. We're finding the odds of getting any pocket pair, not just one. This means that the first card dealt can be any value. The second card has to repeat the value of the first card. For example, the first card dealt is a 10, and now the second card has to be a 10. After the first 10 is dealt, there are 51 cards left in the deck, and 3 different 10's. Therefore, 3 over 51 simplifies to 1 over 17.
3 out of 51 or 16 to 1. regardless of what first card you are dealt there are 3 cards left in the deck that give you a pair. Since after the first card is dealt there are 51 cards left in the deck, the odds are 3 out of 51 or 16 to 1.
The odds of being dealt pocket aces in Texas hold 'em is (4 in 52) times (3 in 51) or 12 in 2652 which, reduced, is 1 in 221.
The odds are 220:1 of being dealt pocket aces.
The cards that "fall" (Show on the flop, turn and river or the cards players get dealt) are chosen by a random number generator that distributes the cards among the players. No play has the possibility to manipulate the cards that are being dealt in Zynga Texas Hold'Em poker. This is just one of those urban myths.

There a many good hands in Texas Holdem, such as, Three of a kind (when you get dealt your two cards, they are the same numbers on both, and there is a card on the table with the same number as the cards in your hand), the Straight (five consecutive cards- Aces may be used before a two or after a King), the Flush (five cards of the same suit), Full House (three of a kind and one pair), Four of a Kind (four cards with the same number), and the best hand is the Straight Flush (five consecutive cards of the same suit). The lowest hands in Texas Holdem are, High Card (Ace, king, Queen, Jack, Ten, Nine, Eight etc.), One Pair (two cards with the same number), Two Pairs (for example, you have pairs of Aces and Tens).
In Texas Hold-em, a straddle is somewhat like a blind. However, any player can straddle. The player put his straddle into the pot before the cards are dealt, just as with the blinds. In other words, the player is blindly putting money into the pot. The other players, if they want to play their hand, will have to call the amount of the straddle, and the player who straddles will get another action before the turn is dealt. Most of the rules that apply to a blind apply to a straddle, except for the fact that it is not required.
The odds of being dealt suited connectors in poker is 2 in 51. Here's why: No matter what card is dealt first, there are two cards that will make suited connectors with it. For example, if the first card is 5d, then the second card must be 4d or 6d. Or, if the first card is Ac, the second card must be 2c or Kc. Since there are 51 cards left in the deck, of which two will make suited connectors with the first card, the odds are 2 in 51.
In this case if the turn (Fourth card) is shown before all players called the bet or made a decision it depends on the house rules of the place you are playing at. In most cases (Exceptions exist!) the card is burned and play continues as if the card was never dealt.
