A dynamic equilibrium is established in the blood known as the oxygen-haemoglobin dissociation curve. This curve related the partial pressure of oxygen in the blood with the percent of saturation of oxygen. Looking at a disassociation curve will provide you with an O2 concentration for a particular % saturation.
