You're probably looking at $130-$150 depending on the condition. A good condition one with good bluing and a good condition wooden stock being at the higher end of the price range.

What is the value age of your Savage Arms 22sl lr pump action octagon barrel rifle serial 37.566 Manufactured Savage Arms Co. Utica NY?

I have a gun just like it that I am trying to find a firing pin for. All I've been able to find out is that the gun was made between 1929 and 1940 and that a similar winchester, with tube feed instead of a clip is selling for 895.00.

What is the age and value of a Marlin 22 Model 81 DL in good shape?

An outdoor sports store in Atlanta offered me $65. The gun is about 55+ years old in perfect condition. Used only a few times. He said he could sell it for $90 but I think he is too low. So, I still have it for sale. This little bolt action .22 was manufactured from 1940 to 1965. The Blue Book give a price range of $65 - $90. Answer For a trade-in, never expect the best price, a gun store will ALWAYS low-ball you. They have to make a profit off of it after they get it from you. The only time I trade in a gun is if it's broken past my ability to repair or if there are ZERO repair parts available. And even then it's only to avoid the Brady wait at a Gun Show. Best bet is to sell it yourself for the highest cash return.

Where can you find the age and value of a Sears Roebuck 22 rifle model 25 I see nothing on barrel other than .22SL LR. It is a .22 pump. It says Ranger Sears Roebuck and Company U.S 102.35?

The exact age I don't know but I have my grandfathers Ranger 102.35 in Sn: 21683K in excellent condition. I'm 69 Yrs. old, my grandfather let me fire it when I was just 9 Yrs. old. To the best of my knowledge he had the rifle for quite some time prior to my first shooting lesson. Extremely accurate. and Priceless..I don't know what to tell you about the age other than it is probably form the 60's. They were made by Hi-Standard for Sears..... I have one and love it except ofr the vents on the left side of the receiver. Occasionally you get a puff of powder that exits right into your eyeballs. The triggers are a bit rough but can be smoothed out and they are very accurate......the age of the Sears,Roecuck & Co. model 25 22.LR rifle is between 37-39 years old, they were manufactured between 1965 and 1967. The Value of this rifle depends on where you are in the US, if your more west the value tends to decrease due larger numbers of the rifle although 90% of them are in pretty horrible condition, the further northeast you go the higher the value becomes, i myself had a model 25 wich was in semi-good conditon, i got an offer for $200 for it, then i re-finished the stock, polished the barrel, filed down the trigger, re-enforced it with scilicone disks *witout it the trigger tends to sway back and forth* and i just sold it for $520......so it all depends on the condition of the rifle and the location your trying to sell it at.answerRegarding the value, I am currently looking at one at a local hardware store. The asking price is $150. I figure they'll take about 20 less. Its in excellent shape. 3-28-06 answerThe should be an assembly date code on the barrel just forward of the receiver in the form of a two upper case letters. The chart for the code/date information can be found at http://www.histandard.info/datapublic/serialThe Model 25 was cataloged by Sears from late 1959 through early 1966.http://www.histandard.info/SCRATCH6/Sears%20Rifles.pdf
