Hello I am having same problem on my daughters car, I am not much of a mechanic. May I ask did you ever find solution
Check the ignition switch itself, sounds like it may be the problem.
IGNITION SWITCH, UR RADIO'S SECONDARY POWER COMES FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH SO WHEN U TURN YOUR CAR OFF THE RADIO AND OTHER ACCESSORIES TURN OFF AS WELL.
Check to see if you are getting spark (coil) and fuel
wood,leaves,paper
you need a new ignition tumbler.
Sounds like the classic ignition wire problem. Replace them.
if you meen NO LIGHT in the instrument pannel just check the battery, might be really dead
maybe ignitoin or ignition switch
Either your starter or ignition..
If the problem is not some where in your fuel line, then it is the Ignition switch. The ignition switch may not return from the start to the run position or the accessories may not work because the screws that hold the switch in place were overtightened. Often found in the 1992-94 models. I have not yet heard of this problem on the 95 model though.
There can be a number of things going on when the engine quits or won't start when it's warm. One is a problem with the condenser related to the ignition points. Also, you should inspect the tightness of the fasteners since metal parts expand when they get hot. Another possible problem is that the ignition coil many need to be replaced.
Should be correct
Starter's gone, have it replaced.
If you're saying the starter won't engage occaisonally, try moving the shifter lever between park and neutral, then back to park. If that makes it start, you probably have a neutral lockout switch that is adjusted wrong.
When it happened on mine, it was the BCM going out. All the accessories & instrument panel went nuts when the key was in the on position, but when you tried to turn the car on, nothing would happen.
probably your ECM malfunctioning i just fixed the same problem on an sl1...it was a new starter... the starter over heats and is non op... or try a coolant temp sensor with new connector is a common problem aswell
Your alternator is not working.
