If one from a different religion wants to convert to Islam they should have at least a basic knowledge of Islam. By basic knowledge I mean the Five Pillars of Islam and after they convert they should practice it. And then when one fully decides to convert, they should have a Muslim friend that will help them make Wu'du before entering the Mosque and after they enter (with clean and modest clothing) they will say the Shahada. The Shahada states that There is no God but Allah (SWT) and Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah.

The steps are:
- to be fully convinced of the Islam truth and teachings; full belief in the oneness of God (Allah) and that he has no sons, fathers, or companion; full belief in the prophecy of Muhammad (peace upon him) and the God holy book Quran
- Make full body thorough wash with the intention to convert to Islam.
- Pronouce the testimony " ASHADU ANN LA ELAHA ELLAH ALLAH WA ASHADU ANN MUHAMMAD RASOUL UL ALLAH" that mean "I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah".
