They both have an indefinite shape. For examples. If you fart in a closed room, and you then open the door, the gas is going to exit out of the door, giving it no definite shape.
Another ex. for liquid= If you have water in a cube, and you pour that water in a cylinder, it will take form of the cylinder, giving it any shape(indefinite shape).

the noble gases have their valence shell complete
they conform to the shape of whatever they are put into.
liquid
No. magnesium is an element. It is not a property
They are all liquid over a range of pressure and temps that includes human comfort pressure and 'room' temp.
neither a liquid or a gas has a definite shape.
The property that liquids and gases share is that it has no definite shape. Written by Jada Bacchus. :)

Gases and liquid do not share the same compressibility property. In liquids, the molecules are approximately lesser compressed, that Is why they move around freely and does not have fixed shape. While gas is the most compressible and it doesn't have a shape.
they conform to the shape of whatever they are put into.
they are fluid
Liquids and gases
they both have a mass
yes viscosity is a property of gas
The common states are gas and liquid.
Solid is rigid. It could roll. But liquid and gas are fluids. It means that they are capable of flowing.
