What is difference between ultrastructure and cytology?

The difference between cells and organisms is that cells are tiny individual structures which together, can make up an organism. However, cells can sometimes be their own organism such as a bacteria; a single celled organism. Where as, organisms such as humans are made up of many cells!

What is the medical term meaning pertaining to the disease of cells?

Cytology and histology are examples of what kind of anatomy?

In a broad sense, perhaps. They're better described as hierarchical levels of organisation.

What is advantages of cytology compared to histology?

Cytology = the study of cells. This includes things like red blood cells and white blood cells (crazy important when looking at how someone's immune system is working) that don't really fall into 'histology' because they're not a tissue. Very common in pathology - benefits include that you can quickly stain and analyse blood cells, whereas histology requires gruelling hours of embedding samples in wax (an overnight process!), cutting these sections at 2-5 microns (veeeery thin, and fiddly to do right!), then staining, cover-slipping a slide, and THEN you can look at what's there. Basically, it's faster, possibly cheaper, and is beneficial for an all-round health check.
