Animal manure (Manure is animal droppings) is used to help grow crops and to grow grass which the animals eat to make more manure. There is a line. Agriculture (food, plants(etc) grow anywhere and animals find these sources of food and eat them. If agriculture wasn't growing as well, many animals would die out of hunger.
