The same as any other 4 star in any other branch. The salary depends on the general's years of service. Excluding taxes and special pay (such as whether or not the general is in a hazardous area or is being shot at) the salary is about $15,261.46/month to $18,765.59/month, but that was in 2010. It is probably more now because military personell usually get small increases in their pay each year (1.3%), but with officers they most likely get a significant amount more (3-4% from what I've heard) because they have a "degree".
