it was a total failure just like all its derivitives of socialism, marksism, facism. all of these failed governmental experiments deprive people of their freedom and creativity to excel and benefit from their oun achievements. government is not the answer to the problem, in almost every case it IS the problem.

In a truly communist country there would be no "businesses". The world has never seen a truly communist country of any significance, though, and in most countries considered "communist" you can, kinda sorta, own your own business. Though if it does very well the government may step in.
