There is no such thing. Check the owners manual or the driver door jamb sticker for the correct pressure for a vehicle.
Air pressure is dependant on the tire itself, not the vehicle. Read the sidewall of the tire, it will show the recommended psi. If you can't get down there to find it. the standard for passenger vehicles and light trucks is about 30-35 psi. For optimal fuel mileage, make sure all four are the same.
tire pressure should be 28-32 for cars 35 for trucks and suv's
Every tire is designed for the characteristics of the vehicles it's intended to be used upon. An SUV tire is designed to support a heavier vehicle and give added traction as SUV's have difficult handling profiles.
Most SUV's you can put 35lbs of pressure in al 4 tires. But if you want exact check your driver side door panel and look at the sticker inside it will tell you the manufactor's specs.
I have 245/70R16 tires on a Honda Passport SUV. What is the proper air pressure for the tires?
most SUV tires take about 44psi but you need to look at the side of your tire in small letters and usually in brackets where it reads max inflation, or max pressure ANSWER Open the driver's door, there should be a sticker on the end of the door indicating the tire size on the Explorer and the recommended inflation pressure Helpfull
Minimum 38 psi if for a SUV. We run 40 psi on an Audi Q7
The federal regulations require that tire pressure monitoring systems must illuminate a low tire pressure warning light not more than 20 minutes after the inflation pressure in one or more of the vehicle's tires is at least 25% below manufacturer's recommendations. www.dailyfinance.com/.../toyota-recalls-trucks-suvs-faulty-tire-pressure-monitoring-systems/ -
Republic Tire
You have to get tires within the size range recommended for your model. A common tire size is 265/65R18 , but you have to get what's right for your SUV. Saturn Vues, which are midsize SUV, takes 235/60/17. 17 and 18's are very common for SUV's. 14 and 15's are more common for cars.
There are no differences between tires for an SUV and a pickup truck. Heavy-duty pickups do require a higher load rated tire than a standard SUV, but besides that there are no differences. Thread pattern and sizes are generally the same also.
A midsize SUv is generally smaller in ebvrything than a standard SUV. A standard SUV is better for towing than the smaller ones. Handling and drivebility is more like limo with a midsize SUV.
