In general, not there is not going to be one. Statute of Limitations is to prevent someone being accused of something years after it happened when witnesses are not available and memories are not fresh. A ticket eliminates this issue. Once a ticket has been issued, there is no requirement that there be any sort of time frame associated with resolving it. As laws vary form place to place, you would have to check with the issuing authority, city, county or state to resolve this citation.
A ticket serves as notification of the violation, so thestatute of limitations will not apply. The time the jurisdiction may collect is set by the city or town.
none hang em high
If I am from Florida but got a speeding ticket in CA, can I go to Traffic School to remove the points from my insurance? I plan on paying the ticket.
The average cost of a speeding ticket in the Fresno, CA area is about $215. That average is about the same statewide.
In Long Beach there will be no statute of limitations associated with a parking ticket. The ticket itself serves as proper notice of the violation.
Going 88 on a 70 mph highway
Too f*cking much
for a personal injury happen year 2006, what is the statues of limitation of this case
Normally there is no statute of limitation on speeding tickets. Some states do have limits on enforcing them. I believe it is one year in CA and two years in PA, for example. Other states have no limits. TX will come after you for a twenty year old ticket. Therefore, you don't need to just ignore the ticket and hope it never surfaces. I would send the court a certified letter stating that the clerk of court (name) has advised that there are no violations against you on file and you are assuming that any such citations have been dismissed. Keep the letter with your tax records where you can find it.
