God gives us multiple testimonies throughout our life. He give us these stories to help & uplift others in their times of need. He will then put others into our lives when we need them and when they need us. Most people will refer to their "testimony" as the moment they believed.

BELIEF TESTIMONY- After months of suffering from PPD, my husband took me to church (we were only Christmas & Easter Christians, didn't own a bible, and really didn't believe). The sermon was about God's purpose which made me very bitter & angry and I stormed out of the church and became an atheist. He continued trying to take me to churches and I went just uncaring and growing more bitter. I had died inside. One Sunday, something clicked. I went from completely dead inside when I walked in to more emotion than I ever felt in my life. An older couple, asked us to join them and they showed us around the church, introduced us to others, and sat with us during the service. It was a contemporary Christian service which I had never experienced. During the music, I felt the songs in my entire body. Before I knew it, I could not stand and I began to sob uncontrollably. Those standing in the pews around me realized that God was working a miracle in me and they came around me, holding me in support and love. These people didn't know me, didn't know my struggle but they knew I needed to feel God's love right then & there.

The Bible TESTIMONY- I felt that I had a lot to catch up on being that I was a baby Christian. The older couple from church who we met on the first day bought me a bible. I dove into bible studies & small groups but felt like I had no idea what was going on & could not contribute. I met other baby Christians who were right out rehab with a huge amount of biblical knowledge. I had the attitude of "yeah I wish I had 18 months to sit around & learn the bible." Knowing full well that I had a family & responsibilities. God had a plan for me. I was injured in an accident, required surgery to have my knee screwed back together. I was unable to walk, had a year of physical therapy and 2 surgeries. I grew on my spiritual walk. Anyone who ever has knee surgery knows, people always want to talk about their surgery. So it comes up often and I share my knee surgery bible learning testimony.

MARRIAGE TESTIMONY- God has given me joys & difficulties in my marriage to openly share with those who need to have encouragement in their marriages.

WEALTH TESTIMONY- God has blessed our family- he has given & he has taken away. Even in the toughest of time, he always provides. I have stories in this area to share with those who need it.

HOMESCHOOL TESTIMONY- God kept planting seeds for us to homeschool but we kept pulling the other way. Finally God made it very clear that we are to homeschool our children when our children were put in harms way in our public school. Damage was done to our family and it truly tested my Christian faith. He never gives you more than you can handle- well he really pushed me on this one. Now that God given us this amazing testimony, we have other families asking us about homeschooling and God again matured us in our Christian walk. When we came out on the other side of the terrible situation at the public school, we came to find out that everyone in our family loves homeschooling. There isn't a thing we would change.

Testimonies show me that God has a purpose in everything. Even the bad. The worst, most trying times in my life turned out to be my best testimonies and I ended on the other side of a tragedy as a stronger maturer Christian even happier with my life and an amazing story to share.
