Please don't assume that every old bill must be a silver certificate. The last US $20 silver certificates were printed in 1891. As the green seal and banner across the top of the bill indicate, a 1934 $20 bill is a Federal Reserve Note.

What is the value of dollar silver certificates?

The FACE value of these bills is $1 but their collector value varies considerably. For example, circulated 1957 / 57A / 57B silver certificates and some later-series 1935 bills are quite common among collectors and sell for only 25 to 50 cents extra. Others, such as bills specially printed for use in Hawaii and North Africa during WWII, and bills dated 1934 and earlier, can be worth a lot more. If you have questions about a specific date, check to see if there's a small "series letter" next to the date, then check for questions in the form "What is the value of a [date] [letter] US [value] silver certificate?", e.g. "What is the value of a 1953 A US 10 dollar silver certificate?

What is the value of a 1923 US 1 dollar Silver Certificate with Morgenthau's signature?

Please check the date on your bill again and post a new question. Henry Morgenthau served as Treasury Secretary starting in January 1934, by which time 1923 bills had been replaced by small-size notes.

What is the value of a US 10000 dollar silver certificate?

$10,000 bills were never issued as silver certificates. All were either gold certificates (up to 1900) or Federal Reserve Notes (1918 to 1934), and all genuine ones are extremely rare. If you believe you have a genuine $10,000 bill (e.g. it doesn't have the word COPY on it, or a giveaway phrase such as "Not $10000") you should have it inspected in person by a dealer or appraiser.

What is the value of a 1934 J US 10 dollar silver certificate?

"D" is the highest letter for all 1934-dated $10 bills regardless of whether they're silver certificates or Federal Reserve Notes. If the "J" is in a large circle to the left of Hamilton's portrait, please check the banner across the top of the bill - it's almost certain you have a Federal Reserve Note and not a silver certificate.
