What is the value of a 1903 Canada 10 cents coin?

They are listed in the Red Book at $28,000 in grade FINE, and over $100,000 in uncirculated condition. However, the coin would need to be certified (preferrably by PCGS or NGC) to verify its authenticity -- I'm sure there are a lot of modern copies out there that are worth a couple dollars or less.

There were so many of these made that they are virtually worth their silver content only.

Although if your coin has exceptional eye appeal than it will be worth a bit more. Same rules apply to the grade of the coin. Higher grade = higher price.

Canada didn't mint any coins in 1849. You may have a fantasy piece, a replica, or a bullion coin commemorating that year.
