Silent movies is a play and they mime it and dont talk or make a sound. Sometimes there is music These movies were first made in 1888 and there wasn't any speaking parts. They used mostly piano music to set up what was happening on the screen.When someone said something the words would come up on the screen and depending how much there was to say would stay there for a fixed time and then they would go again
