I had Viral Neuritis of the upper plaxia (Plaxia may be spelled wrong) but is of the shoulder plate. I had burning pain in my shoulder and all the way down my arm. It can last for a year or more. It is caused due to a viral infection in the bone itself. there are many nerve ending in the bone and that is why a break is so painful. there is no medication to treat it because it is a virus and not a bacteria. how ever boosting your immune system is the answer to getting ride of it.
